Lesson 6: Info Document 

  • Lesson 6 Info Document contains information learned in the Slide Deck and then some.  Students can use the info docs as a “textbook” for the class. 
    • Defines General Adaptation Syndrome and identifies the 3 stages of stress.
    • Explains how stress impacts metabolism. 
    • Discusses stress induced eating.
    • Disucces stimulants and stress.
    • Discusses techniques to cope with stress regarding stress induced eating.

 

Lesson 6: Assignments 

  • 4.06 Personal Stress and Nutritional Response FlipGrid 
  • Students are provided a prompt to respond to via FlipGrid (or of teacher choosing).
  • They are to answer 3 questions regarding stress-induced eating, healthy habits, and explain how a stressor in their life affects their own nutrition and eating habits.
