Contraception Methods Slide Deck & Virtual Escape Room
Introduce students to various contraception methods using an informative slide deck with speaker notes! Then, have students demonstrate their understanding by working through three puzzles related to contraception methods to crack the code to escape class! - Okay, maybe not really escape class...but to get through the escape room activity!
Assignment Goal:
This is an informative, fun, and virtual activity that aims to educate students about the various contraception methods and their effectiveness. The Google Slide Deck contains a total of 19 slides (see product preview) with a speaker notes for easy teacher talking points. There is also one integrated video. Students are then presented with the three escape room puzzles on a Google Document. Students are instructed to read/skim the reading materials from The Contraception at a Glance Article, match the term with the definitions, arrange the lock keys in order of correct answers to spell out the code. Once they get the code, they will fill out the Contraction Methods Escape Room Google Form. The Google Form is answer sensitive - meaning that it will only let students proceed/submit the form if they get the correct answer!
