Lesson 1: Info Document 

  • Lesson 1 Info Document contains information learned in the Slide Deck and then some.  Students can use the info docs as a “textbook” for the class. 
    • Defines physical activity, exercise, and physical fitness. Gives examples.
    • Identifies the 5 components of physical fitness.
    • Discusses the types/levels of physical activity and give examples of each.
    • Defines sports nutrition.
    • Defines stress and nutrition. 

 

Lesson 1: Assignments

  • 4.01 Unit Introduction Notes 
    • Notes directly correspond with the Unit 4 Lesson 1 Info Document 
    • Students are instructed to define physical activity, exercise, and physical fitness and give examples of all three.  Students are instructed to list the 5 components of physical fitness, students are asked 4 questions about METS, sports nutrition, and stress and nutrition.
