Lesson 3: Culture, Body Image and Genetics (19 slides)

  • Objectives Addressed:

    • Define the terms body image and self esteem and understand the role media has in both.
    • Describe the genetic component of body shape and size.
    • Define the term set point in body fatness and how it affects our ability to change our body composition.
